I had fun with this, but I feel that this illustration was kind of a failure. It started with experimenting with hard-edge textures, and with that it quickly grew into a bit of a struggling composition. There’s a paradox here, where I like the crisp line-work, but hate the rigidness of it as a whole. Sometimes you just have to accept that it is what it is and move on.
